Period Home is a family operated business which consists of the proprietor Kelvin Luland, his son Dean and nephew Jamie. We carry out all the brick work on your home or units from start to finish and ensure that the premises are left in a clean state at the end of each day.
|  Repointing is preparing and filling deteriorating mortar joints in masonry, by raking out the old sand and lime to a depth of 25mm to 30mm using vacuum equipment. New mortar is then injected into the joints to fill the cavity, tooled off and dressed.

 Tuckpointing is the process of removing old mortar and placing new mortar in the joint, as in Repointing - then placing white or black lines around the bricks to give a more asthestically pleasing appearance.
